Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.73% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:), which rose 2.38% or 5.00 points to trade at 215.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Demant A/S (CSE:) added 1.65% or 4.80 points to end at 296.00 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:) was up 1.12% or 9.40 points to 851.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which fell 1.72% or 210.00 points to trade at 11,980.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) declined 1.09% or 130.00 points to end at 11,830.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:) was down 0.54% or 4.20 points to 773.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 86 to 60 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.89% or 0.66 to $73.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.07% or 0.85 to hit $78.69 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 7.55 to trade at $2,085.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.27% to 6.73, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 100.78.
