Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the added 0.69% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which rose 1.72% or 175.00 points to trade at 10,365.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) added 1.68% or 170.00 points to end at 10,290.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:) was up 1.64% or 5.90 points to 366.70 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:), which fell 2.03% or 3.60 points to trade at 173.30 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:) declined 0.96% or 2.70 points to end at 278.90 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:) was down 0.94% or 8.00 points to 847.20.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 69 and 21 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.36% or 1.05 to $76.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.15% or 0.94 to hit $81.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.45 to trade at $1,992.35 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.13% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 103.67.
