The Sandbox formed a strategic partnership with Hungama. The partnership will see the parties launch Hungama World, a Metaverse Bollywood experience.

The platform will feature several attractions, providing a close look at the futuristic Mumbai City. The attractions will include a museum, a nightclub, a beach concert, shopping, and more.

The Sandbox tweeted that they will launch Hungama World on December 4. According to the latest tweet by The Sandbox, the platform will celebrate Bollywood’s magic. The Metaverse giant posted about the development on its official X/Twitter account.

It also revealed that BharatBox is also playing a role in the upcoming platform. BharatBox is a cultural hub that has established partnerships with personalities from the entertainment, sports, and art sectors.

Karan Keswani, the CEO of BharatBox, recently attended TechSparks 2023 to talk about India’s Metaverse journey. The CEO touched on the topic of digital ownership and NFTs’ role in shaping the virtual future.

Keswani also explained BharatBox’s vision to integrate Indian brands and culture into the Metaverse. BharatBox has already joined hands with 15 Indian partners for its Metaverse experience. It has also expanded its reach across 12 nations and 700 global brands. Thus, BharatBox’s involvement in the project adds another green flag for Hungama World.

As for The Sandbox’s venture into Bollywood, the Metaverse giant has already worked with another media tycoon in India. Shemaroo Entertainment previously worked with The Sandbox to bring real-life experiences and real-life entertainment together.

BharatBox also backed this partnership to bring a new Metaverse experience to Indian fans. The partnership focused on promoting India’s rich cinematic history across the world. It also focused on redefining the future of virtual spaces for Bollywood enthusiasts.
