MOTORS, an online platform in the UK for buying and selling vehicles, has partnered with Percayso to provide dealers with access to extensive vehicle pricing and ownership data.

The collaboration aims to provide dealers with key market insights to inform their retail strategies.

The new function, called Market Check powered by Percayso, is due to be launched this week. It will be accessible free of charge to all MOTORS dealer partners.

This initial beta trial phase is designed to collect feedback for further product enhancements.

Market Check is designed to offer dealers a quick appraisal of market indicators such as demand, days to sell, pricing, vehicle history and comparable listings.

This service is integrated into MOTORS’ Dealer Centre tool, empowering retailers to make data-driven decisions regarding their inventory and market positioning.

MOTORS chief operating officer Phill Jones said: “Market Check powered by Percayso will provide our dealer partners with invaluable live market intelligence on cars they have in stock, or are considering purchasing.

“We believe this new service will enable dealers to be even more agile, benefitting from guidance on pricing and support on maximising their retail performance. Also, with just a few clicks, dealers will now be able to unlock the retail history of a car and its peers.”

In 2023, Percayso enhanced its vehicle insights service with the acquisition of Cazana’s technology from Cazoo.

Percayso partnerships head Ian Lilley said: “We have over one billion vehicle listings catalogued to provide MOTORS’ dealer partners with the real-time data they need to make informed decisions.

“MOTORS is a great partner for us to bring our tools and expertise to the automotive retail space. We share a belief with MOTORS of using big data to support effective decision making. Having helped insurance and finance companies for years, it is exciting to unlock this opportunity for dealers.”

“MOTORS partners with Percayso to give dealers access to market data” was originally created and published by Motor Finance Online, a GlobalData owned brand.
