Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Chemicals, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.10% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 1.72% or 15.00 points to trade at 886.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 1.72% or 15.90 points to end at 938.10 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 1.42% or 2.10 points to 150.40 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which fell 2.70% or 33.50 points to trade at 1,205.00 at the close. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) declined 1.76% or 11.50 points to end at 642.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was down 1.51% or 150.00 points to 9,795.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 75 to 56 and 22 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.60% or 1.97 to $73.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.09% or 1.65 to hit $77.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.90% or 23.05 to trade at $2,537.25 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 6.75, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 101.57.
