Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, published its 2023 annual report, revealing its significant growth and strategic investments.

The report emphasizes that with the addition of 40 million new users, the total number of registered users reached 170 million. According to the report, the company demonstrated its commitment to regulatory compliance by investing approximately $213 million in this area.

According to the report, Binance’s 2023 investment strategy focuses primarily on zero-knowledge proof cryptography, Web3 games and DeFi innovation.

The report also detailed the important investment projects undertaken by Binance in 2023. These include:

In its report, the company also touched upon the important changes in its management this year and their reasons:

“This year marked the beginning of a new era in Binance’s history. We took responsibility for our past behavior by reaching a settlement with US regulators. As part of this process, Binance co-founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) resigned and was replaced by Richard Teng, a leader with extensive experience as both an innovative financial regulator and successful business executive.”
