US Presidential Candidate Supports Independent Currencies

He is very concerned about government restrictions on Bitcoin and opposes central bank digital currencies, believing they will become tools of power and control.

Kennedy plans to issue some treasury bonds backed by Bitcoin, platinum, gold, silver and other assets.

Kennedy’s stance on Bitcoin remains consistent. He had previously promised to exempt Bitcoin from capital gains taxes and begin backing the US dollar with hard assets like Bitcoin.

In fact, Kennedy confirmed that he owned Bitcoin in July 2023; this was something he had previously disputed but was recorded on a financial disclosure form.

Kennedy’s vision of a free currency and his opposition to central bank digital currencies are part of his broader campaign platform.

Kennedy is running for president on a platform that includes a focus on environmental issues, social justice and economic reform.
