@PB5, an official team member of Shiba Inu’s fast food partner Welly, has shared an important announcement regarding the project’s upcoming venture into the football space.
Welly Cooking Something Big
In a tweet yesterday, the Welly business developer disclosed that the Naples-based restaurant is “cooking up something big” for the local community. Notably, @PB5 shared an image of two teenage footballers wearing a Welly-themed jersey.

Possible Partnership Between Welly and Napoli
The announcement shared by @PB5 suggests that Welly could be working on an initiative to become the main shirt sponsor of the Napoli youth team. As a result, Welly could have its logo crested on the football club’s jersey within a particular period.
Welly could also be working on enrolling teenagers into the Napoli football academy. In the meantime, Welly’s business developer has not shared further updates about the initiative.
Upcoming Benefit for Shiba Inu
Meanwhile, Welly’s venture into the football space could further increase Shiba Inu’s popularity in Italy and across the globe.
With Welly displayed on players’ jerseys, football club fans will be prompted to research the Naples-based restaurant. Shiba Inu is expected to pop up in the search results as Welly is a SHIB-themed fast-food restaurant.
The development comes a month after Welly relaunched its operation in Naples. At Welly, customers can order chicken sandwiches, Waffle Fries, Grilled Chicken, and Cheeseburger.
Customers can eat at the restaurant or have the sandwiches delivered via two Italian-based delivery companies, Deliveroo and Glovo.
