Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, again carried out a Terra Classic (LUNC) burn.
Accordingly, Binance burned 760 million Terra Classic tokens in the 15th batch of the LUNC burning process.
According to CoinGape, the 15th burning party covers the period between September 30 and October 30, 2023. With the latest burn, Binance has burned approximately 40 billion Terra Classic tokens.
To date, the total LUNC burned by Binance has reached approximately 40 billion, while the total LUNC burned by the community has exceeded 76 billion.
Binance announced that it burned 1.01 billion Terra Classic tokens last month.
LUNC’s market value is at $360 million at the time of writing.
According to CoinMarketCap data, LUNC, which has dropped nearly 4% in the last 24 hours, continues to trade at $ 0.0000624.
As it is known, after the Terra (LUNA) ecosystem collapsed in May 2022, LUNA coins were renamed LUNC. Like LUNA, the stablecoin of the Terra ecosystem, UST, was also renamed to USTC.
