Coinbase International, Coinbase’s global cryptocurrency futures platform, announced in its statement that it will list Aptos (APT), Filecoin (FIL) and Sui (SUI) altcoins.
According to the official statement made by Coinbase International, transactions for 3 altcoins will be started on February 8, 2024 at 13:00 CET or later.
Coinbase International, which started its operations recently, was created to take a share of the futures market, which is dominated by giants such as Binance and Bybit. However, due to laws in the USA, Coinbase does not have a futures platform on its own platform.
The company has also been increasing its presence in Europe lately. A virtual asset service provider license was won in France last month, clearing the way for its services to expand there.
It has also recently obtained licenses in Spain, Singapore and Bermuda.
Coinbase is currently facing harsh regulatory pressure in the US, where the Securities and Exchange Commission has accused the company of violating securities laws.
