said Wednesday it is testing more than 20 generative-AI features, including in search and in ads across Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp, before deploying them globally. The AI rollout builds off comments from Meta Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg about generative AI at the company’s Connect conference in September and during Meta’s third-quarter earnings call in October. “The experiences that we started to roll out at Connect are going to transform the way people use all our services — feeds, messaging, hardware, advertising, business messaging, interacting with creators and more,” Zuckerberg said in October.
