MicroStrategy executive chairman Michael Saylor says that he wanted to meet privately with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella to talk about Bitcoin (BTC) adoption.

In an X Space discussion, Saylor says the plan was to propose to Microsoft’s board of directors to consider Bitcoin as a treasury asset in a three-minute presentation.

The Bitcoin bull says he also offered an alternative to pitching to the board. He says he intended to withdraw the proposal if Nadella would meet him but the Microsoft executive did not accept the offer.

“I said I would fly to wherever he is and meet him in confidence in his office for an hour to discuss, but that offer was not accepted so you will see me putting together the three-minute proposal for Microsoft and it will get posted and we’ll send it to the board.”

In a post on X last month, Saylor also urged Nadella to contact him to talk about an investment strategy with massive profit potential. The post was in response to an SEC filing submitted by Microsoft, showing the tech titan’s interest in MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin strategy.

“Hey Satya Nadella, if you want to make the next trillion dollars for $MSFT shareholders, call me.”
