  • Germany’s DAX gained 0.46%.

  • France’s CAC increased 0.51%.

  • Investors are encouraged by slowing inflation in major economies, increasing expectations of a halt in central banks’ policy tightening.

  • The U.K.’s FTSE 100 traded higher by 0.88%.

  • The United Kingdom made a notable stride in combating high inflation, with the inflation rate falling to a three-year low of 4.6% versus 4.8% anticipated.
